Erwartet habe ich eine ungewöhnliche Liebesgeschichte. Die habe ich gefunden, und nebenher jede Menge über das historische England und die Evolutionstheorie gelernt. Die Autorin verbindet geschickt das Private mit dem Gesellschaftlichen und erzählt berührend wie informativ die Geschichte eines Ehepaars, das die Welt veränderte.
